Fifteen x Fifteen Exhibition - Open Call

Blowfish Glass Gallery is partnering with the International Festival of Glass to deliver a new varied programme of events during August 2024.

We are looking for 30 glass artists to showcase their creations in our Fifteen x Fifteen Exhibition at our gallery in Stourbridge from August 23, 2024, to September 23, 2024.

The challenge is to create a unique piece of glass art no larger than 15cm (H) x 15cm (W) x  and/or 15cm (D). We encourage submissions across all glass processes, from flameworking and hot sculpting to Pâte-de-Verre and stained glass. We accept group collaborations and 2 dimensional artworks, with the concept of being no larger than the aforementioned measurements.
This compact format encourages an exciting opportunity to experiment with new ideas and techniques to push the limits of your artistic vision.

Fifteen x Fifteen marks our founding role in the new Glass Legacy Association Stourbridge (GLAS). Alongside our exhibition, we will host an opening event featuring demonstrations by ten renowned glass artists.

This exhibition provides a fantastic opportunity to display your artwork in a historic setting at Blowfish Glass Gallery, located within the Red House Glass Cone units. We anticipate a large number of visitors during the opening event, which coincides with the International Festival of Glass 2024. Take this chance to present your artistic vision to a dedicated audience of collectors and glass enthusiasts.
