National Lottery Indian Residency

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland is pleased to announce the renewal of its Vedaaranya Artists’ Residency at Ramgarh Shekhawati Rajasthan, in association with the British Council and the Shruti Foundation.

We can offer a one-month residency in the historic town of Ramgarh Shekhawati in the princely state of Rajasthan, founded in 1791, which was one of the richest towns in 19th century India.

Artists may apply for a month-long residency at any time from April 2024 to March 2025.*

This residency will require the selected artists to engage with young people from local communities and undertake school’s workshops.
