The Gallery at Green & Stone - Open Call

Green & Stone, the internationally renowned art shop, opened the Gallery in 2018.

Each year, we host two open calls in search of emerging talent. The first prize of our Summer Exhibition is a fully funded solo show. Previous winners include Nneka Uzoigwe and Michael Slusakowicz. Since exhibiting with us, both artists have soared within the artistic community.

This year, we are excited to announce the addition of another room to our Summer Exhibition. This room will feature 25 artworks by young and emerging artists. Our hope is that this curation will highlight and encourage artists at the beginning of their career. We are delighted to offer, for the second year running, the fantastic Young Artist Award generously donated by the de Laszlo Foundation.

Entry is £20 per artwork, with a maximum of 3 artworks to submit.

Young artists (under 30 years of age) can submit work at a discounted rate of £15

Anyone!

The Work

The competition is open to 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional works.  Works must be available for sale from June to September 2023 and have been made in the last three years. Works should not exceed dimensions of 100cm x 100cm. Works must not have been exhibited in London already.

All mediums are welcome, including but not limited to: painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, photography, print and textile.
