Young Aspects Literary Festival | Special Events @ Boom

We are excited to welcome two events to Boom Studios as part of Young Aspects Literary Festival!

Taking place over the weekend of 28th Feb - 2nd March, events in the Borough inspire the younger generation to engage with stories, books and writing.

As this is Boom… we’re exploring them through art!

Tablets & Text

Join digital artist Graham Ginty to create a unique audio-visual story mashup!

Using books, words, animation, digital film, sound recording and drawing, digital creations will culminate in a short video piece written, filmed, recorded and edited by the participants.

No experience is required and equipment is provided, all you need is a handful of words and a big creative brain.

Suitable for ages 7+ years.

Messy Mornings with Books

Inspired by the book The Girl and The Dinosaur by Hollie Hughes and Sarah Massini.

We will listen to the story and create some dreamy dinos using mixed media and collage techniques.

Messy Mornings are art and craft sessions for families.

Suitable for 0 - 5 years.
