Beginning the Journey to Net Zero!

Last year, Boom Studios secured a 10-year lease for our HQ building on Main St! We intend that the security of our art space will enable us to make positive changes within the building itself.

Ards and North Down Borough Council recently funded Boom Studios to conduct a feasibility study, looking at moving towards net zero carbon emissions.

Building on that, we are delighted to be moving to the next stage of the Sustainable Community Buildings programme with The National Lottery. This means that Boom will be receiving carbon literacy training, delivered by Business in the Community Northern Ireland and to work with @Action Renewables to develop an environmental plan for our spaces.
