Go Succeed Grow | Peer Support Network

We’re excited to announce that Boom Studios are developing a peer support network for social enterprises, as part of the Go Succeed Grow programme.

The aim of these sessions is to connect businesses with shared values in the borough, sharing best practice, creating networks and encouraging collaboration .

Is it for me?

These sessions could benefit those interested in becoming a social enterprise, established social enterprises, and stakeholders involved with social entrepreneurship, development, and community support.

Peer Support Network Sessions

Three meet-ups, free to attend for social enterprises, social entrepreneurs and interested parties in Ards & North Down Borough

  1. Thurs 24th October | Getting to Know the Social Enterprise Sector

    10am-12 noon, Boom Studios, 80A Main St, Bangor / Online via Google Meet

    Introduce yourself, sign up to the network, explore the tools we can use to connect to the sector.

    Community Wealth Building and Ciara McKenna (Business Client Officer, AND BC - covering social enterprise)

    Discuss the needs of our local social enterprises and hear from Brian O’Neill(Go Succeed & Enterprise North West) on

    Community Wealth Building and Ciara McKenna (Business Client Officer, AND BC - covering social enterprise) on the

    support available for Social Enterprises in Ards an North Down.

    Tour and hear about the Boom Studios social enterprise as we turn 10 years old.

  2. Thurs 14th November | Opportunities for Social Enterprises in Ards & North Down

    10 am - 12 noon, Market House, Main St, Bangor

    Including presentations from sector partners on opportunities and local regeneration (final subjects TBC), networking/skill sharing, highlighting funding/resources/development opportunities, discussion on capacity building.

  3. Thurs 5th December | Creative Goal Setting

    Venue TBC

    Networking & knowledge sharing time, creative workshop to inspire and encourage goal setting, closing discussion and feedback/assessing needs for the future.
