David Bunting

David is a multidisciplinary artist who explores and questions the relationship between time, place, objects and memories.

Never limiting himself or his creative curiosity, he is constantly experimenting with various techniques and mediums including: photography, typography, drawing, sculpture and installation.

Inspiration for David is found in many places: a book, a song lyric, a news article. A love of music, film and architecture also play an important role in his work.

His current body of work focuses on human ecology and the relationship between humans and their natural, social, and built environments. While exploring various themes such as mortality, mental health, consumerism, environmental issues and many more...

His work allows him to constantly explore new places and image-making techniques both traditional as well as embracing new technologies.

David sees life as a journey filled with adventure, opportunities, choices and challenges...

As he continues to explore a diverse range of ideas and concepts, he hopes his work will act as a catalyst towards a better understanding of our ever-changing, diverse and complex world that we are all part of for just a fleeting moment in time and for people to independently look, think and question everything...
